happy things, part two

just returned from a zippy quick road trip to iowa, most likely our last venture there as my parents are moving away soon. in the past decade, i've banked probably 30 trips to iowa, up and down I-35 from minneapolis, dallas and kansas. had i lined up at 5 am for the opening of the iowa state fair today, i could have been eligible for one of 8000 free corn dogs. instead i skipped the corn dog chomp and bade farewell to iowa with a caribou coffee and a wave...

here is my happy list continued. be sure to check in tomorrow; i have a binge giveaway on my mind :)

Glad you had a great trip. Symmetry is one of my hubby's favorite things, me? Not so much!

Rapidographs? You like rapidographs? In the 70's you had to use a rapidograph to be considered cool.

Great list.

TURRETS!! I love them too! Whenever we walk by a house with a turret, my husband and i dream of what we would use that room for: looking at the stars, picnics, seances, you know...

great idea!

hahaha... this is funny seeing who identifies with these odd things. symmetry is more than a happy, it's more like a requirement to put the mess of my mind into order; darla - i do in fact love rapidographs, just don't love cleaning them. kelly, i'm so glad you're a turret-lover! there's one down the street from me, probably a hundred years old, i just imagine myself running around in circles inside it!
