during my weekend in minnesota, jen taught us how to create and then bind our own books using the coptic stitch. she's an awesome teacher. i would have never learned otherwise, because as i mentioned in the last post, i'm too impatient to sit still and figure it out for myself. i came home with my new book and my artsygirl's eyes boggled. she is a sucker for blank books, while i'm scared stiff of them. before i had a chance to get my panties in a bunch over what i was going to write in it, i handed it over. here, kiddo. here you go.
and now i'm going to hand it back to her so she can keep filling it up with her thoughts, random notions, favorite quotes from diary of a wimpy kid, and her beefs with me. on a side note, the black t-shirt really is hi-dy-is! the bank gave it to her for opening a new account, and it makes her look like a thug.
see leah for more art every day and dawn for today's nanojoumo prompt!
