The Doodle Circle book hop & giveaway!

Now it's my turn to host a hop! Dawn DeVries Sokol's new doodle book The Doodle Circle just hit the shelves, and I'm excited to get in on the frenzy surrounding it! I love all of her books, but I think this one might be the most adorable of them all. It is suited for kids and adults alike, and I love the collaborative spirit to it. Dawn sent me enough copies for my girls (7 and 10) to each have a BFF over for an afternoon & have a journal jam session. We made cookies (which I did not burn this time) and the girls took to the books with their arty minds and back & forth whispers. Of course I cannot reveal all of their BFF secrets, but I sneaked the camera into a few pages and here are a few of my favorites:

And now you can snag your own copy of it -- signed by Dawn! Just leave me a comment here and please make sure I have a way to reach you, either via e-mail or blog. I will draw a winner one week from today -- Wednesday, October 9. Good doodle luck!

Don't miss the rest of the stops on the hop:

This would be the perfect way for me to re-connect with a couple of my art journaling friends ... I like what your girls did, have a sit down and work the pages together. That's so cool, and it made me think about a get-together with my friends. Please pick me, pretty please with washi tape on it! Thank you, Aimee ;)
